• Support messages — any communications you send to us.

Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Gumroad. We never see or store full card numbers.

3. Why we use it & legal basis

• To deliver the PDF you purchased and provide download links — performance of a contract.
• To provide customer support — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
• To prevent fraud and secure our service — legitimate interests.
• To improve our product and website — legitimate interests.
• To comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations — legal obligation.

4. Who we share data with

• Hosting and infrastructure providers — for serving the website and storing order records.
• Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, when needed.
• Authorities — where required by law.

5. Retention

We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (typically 6–10 years depending on jurisdiction). Other personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, and then deleted or anonymised.
